Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Uh-huh. I see which Max Scherzer showed up today.

Gotta love Mario's call of that bomb: "Uh-oh. I think we have lift-off."

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

And just where the hell has THIS been all year? And how long does it plan to stay?

6-2 Tigers, top 5.

6-3 final. First time we've won two in a row since April 17-18.

Well, at least Charlie Sheen isn't in our clubhouse.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

in spite of the crappy weather and largely because the Tigers didn't suck, me and the kids were very pleased with our first two games at Target Field. Friendly Twins fans, a lot of friendly Detroit fans, good places to stand under roofs & watch when it got a little wet & cold outside. Very positive experience overall.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I think Ricky's trying to get himself killed today.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Ah. I see our old donkey show of an offense has returned.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Boesch's AB was strange.

Looks at strike 3, ump calls it ball 2. Looks at ball 4, ump calls it strike 3. Give back I'm guessing.

This Gilligan's Island offense isn't fun, but it could be worse, we could be the Cubs.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

Dear Don Kelly,

If you cannot perform the basic task of laying down a sacrifice bunt, please remove yourself from the lineup. Thank you.

Sincerely,
Tigers fans

p.s. Please pass this message onto Ryan Raburn, with the alteration that he stop continuously hitting into double plays.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

I'd consider it progress if both of them knew which end of the bat to hold upon arrival at the batter's box.

Raburn is hitting .154. On May 27.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 3 - The Alan Trammell version

It would also be nice if Porcello actually tried to hold a runner on 1st base sometime this decade.

How about they just stop ****ing bunting in general. Nothing helps a struggling offense like giving away outs for free.
