10-8 final.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Josh Harrison released, along with Sandy Baez.

Good riddance to Harrison. He gave us absolutely nothing this year. Baez was brutal everywhere he went this year.

Oh, and Edwin Jackson is on the mound tonight. Let's see just how this goes. Probably like a fart in the middle of a funeral.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

First batter: inside the park homer to dead center. Reyes decided to belly-flop into the CF wall.

This is fine.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Folks, grab a Snickers. We're going to be here for a while. This might be another 10-8 game.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

John Schreiber makes his major league debut in the 9th, with a 5-1 lead.

Gives up a bomb to the first hitter he faces.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

He leaves with 2 out and 2 on.

Fat Joe is going to try to save this.

5-2 final.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

JaCoby Jones: fractured wrist. Season likely over for him.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Kyle Seager of the M's: I hit a home run!
Niko Goodrum: Only because I helped.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

He didn't need help with the other two that he hit tonight.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Looks like Jake Rogers' defense finally arrived in Detroit.

2-0 final.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Scoreless in the 13th. The Tigers have struck out roughly 25 times tonight. Not exaggerating.

EDIT: 24 K's thru 13.

Matt Hall gives up back-to-back doubles in the 13th to win it.

It's hard to win games when you strike out 24 times and get 3 hits in 13 innings.
