Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Royals up 4-0 in the 1st with 1 out. Had it not been for some ****-poor strategy by KC, it might very well be 5-0, 5 batters in. They're shelling Ross early on.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Tyson ain't got it today. They better do something soon or this is going to be a 12-1 game.

CANDELARIO!!!!

7-2 Royals, bottom 3

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

14-2. The Chiefs just got into the end zone again.

Drew VerHagen & Zac Reininger have pitched today. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

This is the Royals right?

I think some of the old Chinese Tai-Pei LLWS champions would knock this team around this afternoon.

A couple horses from the Kentucky Derby would probably go 2-for-5 against what we trotted out there today.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Apparently Gardenhire hasn't been in the dugout for a few innings. Not sure exactly why.

EDIT: apparently he left with an allergic reaction. Should be back for tomorrow.

JACOBY!!!!

10-2, bottom 8.

That thing might have hit the brick wall deep in LC.

10-3 final.

That almost got dicey in the 9th.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

When they decide to suck on a given night, they don't mess around

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

1st 3 pitchers all left the game with ERA’s north of 10.00

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

If not for Nico Goodrum, we might be looking at a 6- run inning. Hell of a play to keep it to 2.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

5-0 now, as Ross has served up 2 bombs. I guess this is going to be background noise for the rest of the night as I do other things.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 10: The Tommy Bridges edition

Ross is lucky he didn't injure 2 guys on that throw. Goodrum is lucky that throw wasn't a couple inches the other way, or he might be pulling his nuts out of his stomach.

EDIT: Goodrum is coming out, as helmet hit knee there. Gonzalez is also out. I guess he did injure two guys on that throw.
