Well, this one got out of hand in a hurry. With a day/night with the Yankees tomorrow, let's not burn the bullpen to the ground tomorrow. We've already got Mike Fiers & Sandy Baez starting tomorrow's games. We're going to need all the help we can get tomorrow.

Apparently Drew VerHagen is starting this afternoon’s game, and Fiers is going tonight.

Also tonight is the MLB Draft. The Tigers pick #1. The expected pick is Casey Mize, a pitcher from Auburn. The book on this kid is nice command of his secondary pitches. Big strikeout/walk ratio. Something like 153-12 this year. We’ll see.

4-1 Red Sox in the 3rd. They've plated all four runs this inning, nobody's out, and there's no signs of letting up on Hardy tonight. This could be a 7-8 run inning before they're done.

For someone who just heard about the goose, I'm sick of the goose. I'm happy the goose was rehabbed and released back into the wild, but let it go already!

I've been sick of the **** goose for two weeks! Even last week they went and dug up Nate Robertson and asked Eight Run Nate about how it compared to GUM TIME!! back in 2006. Because obviously chewing gum and a ****ing goose were clearly the reasons we were in contention.

Yeah, I think this is going to be a recurring problem for a long time. 35 years old, and 5 years left on that contract at $30+/year after this year. Woof.

And this nonsense about Blaine Hardy going to the bullpen when Liriano and Zimmerman return is just that: absolute nonsense. Send Zimmerman to the bullpen. Hardy should stay in the rotation for as long as he's getting the job done. If he starts getting shelled, we can adjust accordingly.

Twins are doing their Bad News Bears impression in the 8th inning. The RF tried to throw the ball to the plate. He only was off by about 25 feet. The ball wound up in the camera well.

5-2 Tigers, bottom 8. Let's see if Sugar Shane can turn this into a disaster in the 9th.
