Fat Rondon blew a 2-run lead in the bottom of the 8th, and Greene closed it out in the 9th.

Liriano to the DL, along with Stumpf. Ryan Carpenter and Johnny Barbato called up.
Looking at our Opening Day rotation: Fulmer is getting shelled lately, with Zimmerman and Liriano both on the DL. This thing could really hit the skids in a hurry. Only Boyd has truly looked good, and God knows just how long that is going to last.

I saw that a goose tried to escape Comerica Park, failed, was rescued by a veterinarian that happened to be at the game that night... was that fairly recently? And why wasn't it brought up here?
