Hawk isn't so irritating when the Sox lose.

Who am I kidding? Yes, he is.

BOESCH!!!

3-0, nobody out in the game.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

I knew there was a reason I added Boesch to my team when Hayward went out.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Yeah. Everyone is hitting bombs left and right, Leyland is bored and is putting gum on McClendon's elbow..............and Ryan Raburn is ending innings grounding out to 2nd base.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

I got the feeling that 9 runs might not be enough.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

At least you won't lose any ground on Cleveland. Regardless of how badly the umps wanted otherwise.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

We're at 9-5, top 6. We've got a long way to go yet.

Heh. 1.5 games out now. Cleveland has lost, what, 7 straight? All this with Inge out and the Mudhens in the lineup.

Re: Detroit Tigers, Volume 1 - The Lou Whitaker version

Is Inge out of the lineup really that much of a blow?

It depends. The first two Sox runs on Sunday were the result of plays that I think Inge would have made and Worth didn't. Worth made a couple nice plays in the field later in the game though. It's probably a wash at the plate though.
