Another comeback win. Now I'm trying to get my soul right. I'm pretty sure that the Cubs winning the WS and the Lions going to the playoffs are signs of the Apocalypse from the Book of Revelation.

Apparently it happened in the 1st quarter. We'll see.

Either way, we're probably going to have to beat Green Bay in the finale.

I'm just waiting for that Same Old Lions shoe to drop. Sooner or later they're going to screw it all up.

As of right now, that destiny looks pretty dang tough. Toughest remaining schedule in the league?

Even with a win this week by both Dallas and Detroit, the Lions can still catch the Cowboys for that #1 seed (I haven't looked at tie-breakers) so I'm guessing Dallas won't be folding over and benching guys for rest. And if the Giants win this weekend, then Dallas really has to be worried because they lose every tiebreaker imaginable if both teams end up at 12-4.

The fight for the NFC North, plus the Wild Card spots are going to be crazy over the last three weeks. That Redskins tie could earn themselves a playoff spot.

Detroit could very well lose both their next games, and GB could very well win both their next games.

If that happens, Ford Field Week 17 is gonna be lit fam.

Think that award goes to Denver. They have New England, KC, Oakland, combined record 31 - 8.

The Lions are 9-5. The Redskins are the #6 seed at 7-5-1, and they play Carolina tonight. Tampa and GB are right behind at 8-6.

Need one more win to be safe. It gets very dicey if we go 0-for. If Washington wins out and we lose out, we're done.

GB now holds the 6 seed at 8-6. Everything I've read suggests win and we're in.

- DET beats DAL
- ATL beats CAR
- GB beats MIN
- GB beats DET Week 17
- NO beats ATL Week 17

Detroit is out at 10-6 losing tiebreakers to ATL and NYG.

Beat GB next week and none of this matters - we clinch the NFC North.
