They figure a trade for his rights (5th rd pick) will do it.

Lions won't trade him within the division (GB) and shy away from conference (CAR). So NE is the logical choice to get SOMETHING for him

Can't blame him. Guy wants to walk away while he's still ambulatory.

ETA: Just learned the guy was taking two Vicodins every Sunday to play. JFC. That ain't something you mess around with. Get outta there.
