The Lions where not that far from being a .500 club. A td over a fg in a few games and we would be there. Hell, they get that call in Chicago right and that's a big win for you there.

Anything less than 8-8 would be a failure. They won't have a 5th place schedule next season, either. Still too many personnel holes to fill.

From what I've heard during the yodelers' debriefings, the Lions are going to be the sexy "darkhorse" pick for a playoff team next year. I'd love it, as long as they go in their traditional unis (one of the best kits in all sports).

I like the Honolulu Blue and Silver with the new black piping they added a couple years back. Bubbles on the helmet was enhanced, too a few years ago. It still won't help them if they don't stay healthy, have a good draft (13th I believe) and start out strong. The schedule will not be easy even if the Vikes, Bears and Pack stand pat in the off season. Then again if they draw the NFC west...

Their schedule is going to be on the difficult side, assuming a 16 game season.

I think I do like the first pick. Makes the D line on paper the most fearsome in the NFC North, and heck, a top Dline in the league. Having a few young guys around as a unit with Suh will be good. enough talent among them all that you're pretty much picking your poison on who you doubleteam.

The NFC North isnt exactly known for their strong offensive lines.
