Might need multiple kegs of beer instead of popcorn to get to this season. That secondary outside of Delmas could be frightening.

I feel pretty good about the Lions this year. I think they could finish 4th in the NFC North with any luck and some hard work.

I've got high hopes for the boys this season. I'll say 5-11 and 7-9 (as the ceiling).

I say the Lions go all the way to the Super Bowl. On Madden 11.

Looking at the schedule, 5-11 sounds about right - Rams, 'Skins, and Bucs should be winnable, we pull one out of our butts against the Vikes (especially if BRETT FAVRE actually does decide to hang it up for reals and they're left with TSuck,) and we win a weirdo game against, oh, I don't know, the Bills.

They may beat the Bears at Ford Field, too. They look like a sinking ship.

Had the Rams not beaten us last year, the NFL could have been looking at 0-16 teams in back to back seasons.

Well the over under for wins is 5.5 ...and I've placed a little wager on the over. It'll sustain my interest for the first 9 weeks of the schedule.

Nov 14 - at Buffalo, 1:00 PM ET

Nov 25 - vs. New England, 12:30 PM ET
Dec 5 - vs. Chicago, 1:00 PM ET
Dec 12 - vs. Green Bay, 1:00 PM ET

A quick look at this and I see 4 wins (in order): St. Louis, Buffalo, Chicago and Tampa. They could also win at Chicago in the opener, they could beat the Foreskins, and if you-know-who stays you-know-what in Minneapolis, they could get the Vikings in the finale, if they don't make a move for a you-know-what.

They could very easily start 1-7 as well, or if things go right, 3-5. The first half is much tougher than the 2nd.

Delmas: injured groin. Severity of the injury is in dispute.

It gets better. Jordon Dizon hurt his knee tonight. Unsure how serious. Now both of our MLBs are hurt (Levy & Dizon).

Derrick Williams fair-caught a punt on the 4-yard line. If I had to guess, this kid isn't making the team.
