Denver vs. CC - Battle for the Gold Pan part Deux.

The way I see it, when you've won 7 national titles, you can stick salute when you feel like it. Hell, 7 titles is more than the entire "state of hockey". Therefore, we can do as we please.

Fine by me, but when a DU poster says CC hangs a banner for everything (insinuating over-celebration) I find it fair game.

So (in all honesty, not trying to start anything)... where is the CC-DU flamefest? Two like-minded schools, both in Colorado, Gold Pan (sorta) on the line.... is everybody out getting high?

Its tamed over the years. Hell, even I'm getting too old. Getting married does that to you.

I was about to reply, then I saw...

And the keyword here is kids, not just one kid.

Yeah and just think, my kids are destined to be gingers. Be afraid, be very afraid.

Re: Denver vs. CC - Battle for the Gold Pan part Deux.

Last home game against CC the players rushed to the student section en mass after the stick salute. I'd like to see that tradition continue on Friday night if they clinch the Gold Pan...

I bet the two students left in the stands appreciated it.

Re: Denver vs. CC - Battle for the Gold Pan part Deux.

If CC is desperate for points does that mean we are on a "reverse points diet?" Does that mean DG might also go on a regular diet??? Do you think it might be possible that he can see his "little lion man" for the first time in like 3 decades??? Probably not... but... a girl can dream I guess...

Re: Denver vs. CC - Battle for the Gold Pan part Deux.

DU swept the first series earlier this season, but will have their work cut out for them.

DU hasn't gone 4-0-0 against CC in the regular season since 1988-89.

DU hasn't even started 3-0-0 against them in any season since '88-89.

It has been a while for a sweep by DU of CC. But I think DU jumped out to a 3-0-0 record against the ***** Cats back in 2005-2006 though.
