Denver vs Alaska(fairbanks) Friday, Oct.18,2013 Gold/Goal Rush

Re: Denver vs Alaska(fairbanks) Friday, Oct.18,2013 Gold/Goal Rush

Man, sometimes you really strike my funny bone. I was thinking the same thing. When I was in college, the cafeteria was supplied by SAGA, foods. They told us it was Stewart Anderson something or other (and there was a Stewart Anderson steakhouse, which was quite good, near campus. We didn't believe it, of course. We called it Sheet And Gag A lot.

In boy's camp the big canned goods supplier was B A Railton company. Their brand was BARCO. Naturally, we called it BARFO.

I spent one year in Halls. And in those days DU did the cooking. IIRC, they made the HRM people work in the kitchens for credit (and for free, of course). Best institutional food I ever had. One night we had Long Island ducking with orange sauce for cripe's sake. And some other entrée (roast prime?). I doubt they do that much these days.

Our favorite steakhouse, particularly before chapter meetings, was Mr. G's on Colorado Blvd.

In my high school's game tonight, the other team had a really steady but unspectacular running back with no breakaway speed. The kid had 42 carries! Totaled like 165 yards. Unfortunately, that's all they had. Not nearly enough with our big play high speed offense. 42 carries! There might be a law against that. He'll have a tough time getting out of bed tomorrow.

I have to take my cousin to the airport in about 5 hours, so I think I'm going to entrust the third period to y'all.

Since it is intermission, and since baseball sucks, any thoughts about the DENVER BRONCOS? PFM, Peyton Frickin' Manning, is heading back to some old stomping grounds this weekend. As you can imagine, the city of Denver is pumped for the Broncos (they might even pre-empt DU games like ESPN did for sillyball tonight.

Will DU ladies soccer make it through The Summit League w/ o giving up a goal?

Re: Denver vs Alaska(fairbanks) Friday, Oct.18,2013 Gold/Goal Rush

Sammy went 193:49 of shutout hockey dating back to last season.

Re: Denver vs Alaska(fairbanks) Friday, Oct.18,2013 Gold/Goal Rush

Puts him in 3rdplace
Chevy 223
Mannino 208
Brittain 193
Mannino 178
Dubie 158
Fisher158

159 this season plus 34 from last year
Guess DU needs to update some web pages
