Good win by Bucky. Just too much tonight. DU showed heart, getting back into this one.

Well, two great games on the weekend. Hats off to DU, hell of a team.

I've got a feeling this won't be the last time these two meet...

WI 4 DU 3 Final

WI outplayed DU early and DU clawed their way back to tie it at 3. WI put the nail in the coffin with a late 3rd period goal. DU had trouble finishing around the net all night. Good job by WI.

That last goal right off the faceoff--maybe a makeup for the badger' nongoal at Magness.

Another white knuckle game amd I just finished my bottle of wine :(

I am still working on my 3rd drink and I didn't start until the 2nd period. DU needs to get better starts. Even though DU had the lead last night, they were getting outshot with Chevy saving their bacon. DU needs more scoring from other players besides the big guns. The 3rd and 4th lines need to chip in a little more. Big series in Grand Forks next weekend.

Even though DU only got 1 point on the weekend, the Badgers only scored 1 more goal than DU the entire weekend.

Gwoz saying that DU was very poor on faceoffs all weekend and that needs some work. DU never gave up and battled to the end. "We leave without a whole lot of point totals." Proud of the team's effort and even though they are disappointed it was a tough series and the boys learned a lot. They will get back home and get ready for the Sioux next weekend.

One of the best weekends of the season.
We're lucky to get the 3 points as either team could have won both games. Not surprisingly, we now sport identical records.

I scored a rare "twofer,"--threw a half full bottle of Crown Royal at my TV after Bucky got the GWG, missed, and the bottle bounced off the wall and hit me in the face. I can't get no respect.

LMAO, I hope nothing spilled. The most important thing is the Crown Royal being ok as we are too old to worry about being good looking anymore. :D

I am keeping in perspective that this was one game in January with a whole lotta season left. Hey we only lost by one goal to a very good team that could have beaten us by multiple goals tonight.
