Yeah. Around here, TV weather will call anything in the low 90s "cool."

That stinks. "The Ticket" is going to REPEAT last night's first period WCHA preview. Definitely bush league. I mean, if they were repeating Herb's Morrison's description of the Hindenburg (oh, the humanity) maybe, but a third rate, read it out of the paper, preview of the league, is really really bush.

I remember that. My parents had one of those big round black vinyl things with famous moments from history.

I actually got to interview him once, when the George C. Scott movie came out in the 70's. The producers made him available to local stations. He said the biggest misperception of his role in the disaster was that he went crazy or something. Actually, he was back at work at WLS in Chicago the next day.

Gives you some idea of what a big deal the season's first flight of the Hindenburg was--WLS sends two guys out to Lakehurst to cover the arrival.
