No. 9/10 Denver (19-11-4, 14-8-4 WCHA) closes the regular season at Nebraska Omaha (14-14-6, 11-10-5 WCHA) in a two-game series on March 2-3. Puck drop is set for 5:40 p.m. MT on Friday and 6:07 p.m. MT on Saturday at CenturyLink Center Omaha (15,959). NBC Sports Network will televise Friday's game. Both games will be webcast on www.B2LiveTV.com and can be heard on Denver's Sports Station 102.3 ESPN and on Pioneer Vision at www.DenverPioneers.com. Live blog can be found at www.DenverPioneers.com and national scores can be accessed on www.WCHA.com.

Sure hope "Zooker" has a good series and that those retards at NBC learn how to pronounce his name. Three games in a row now, and they're still doing it. It makes my former PBP skin crawl.

Just how far out of favor has The Mermis fallen? It's like he's been airbrushed off the team..

He took one of the worst penalties of the year -- one goal game, CC, closing minutes of the game, major. I wouldn't be surprised to not see him again until next year. Though, he did participate in warmups last Saturday.

Yeah. Some penalties are way worse than others. And that one certainly qualifies.

That is a Euro thing, I have seen a number of Euro goalies this season in the NHL make the "head" saves. Henry Lundquist with the Rangers does it all the time.

Can't speak for the NBC guys, but the guys at America One are pronouncing Zucker right. :) (Who I presume are the UNO guys)
