Even the UNO announcers couldn't understand the disallowed goal for DU.

Well, given the ejection, the major and their 2-1 lead, I suppose I should be happy we're tied after 2. But I'm not. Anybody catch what the ruling was on the waive off?

Did anybody see their little mini Zamboni? Kinda like OU's boomer sooner wagon. Sure hope DU never considers anything like that. Gotta keep the donut in the locker room, discourage student enthusiasm and never play the alma mater.

I'm repeating myself, but with an eye toward the third period [and possibly beyond], it's tie game meaning on any shift the game winning goal could be scored. The Pioneers absolutely, positively MUST play tight defense on Josh Archibald. Something along the lines of....those who do not study the past are doomed to repeat it.

I'm not sure Anderson is Pro-NCHC/WCHA/Hockey/Accuracy/Humanity/Decency...

In all seriousness, though, he's extremely unprofessional. He'll stop paying attention away from the play to jaw with the bench. He'll back-talk to players without letters as they skate away (as the off ref who's supposed to be watching the wider play). Above all he gets emotional, which is the last thing a ref should be.

At the Frozen Four in 08, I was on the light rail with a CC fan and 2 UND fans. And we were complaining about him in complete agreement the whole ride. THAT'S how you know it's bad! He has screwed over so many teams so many times.

Taking the lead here is no guarantee of a win. Falling behind is pretty much a guaranteed loss.

At UNL football games it's Fairbury hot dogs. I've actually been to Fairbury. But, legal or not, DU is (sniff) just far too sophisticated to engage in that low class tomfoolery. Puhleez.

Yeah, Saturday Night Sumo from years past was high brow. :rolleyes: Not to mention this season's slingshotting chickens on friday night.

Hee Hee. I was an English language Sumo announcer back in the day. 'Course that was in Tokyo. It might make a difference. That 3rd tool box they've got on the broadcast pretty consistently mispronounces every DU name.
