Miami has done DU a favor by sweeping Alaska. In the unlikely event DU can salvage a tie or win tonight's game the Pioneers would pass Alaska in the PWR.

UMD 3 DU 1 end 2nd, some extracurriculars at the end of the period, there will be some penalties

Duh, I finally figured it out. You're talking about the other "Alaska," not our friends from Orthopedic U.

With Miami's win over Alsaka tonight Denver, Alsaka and NoDak are currently in a three-way tie for 10th in the PWR. A rally in the third period would boost the Pioneers past Alaska. It looks like Nodak has its game well in hand.

Grant Arnold tossed from game. Teams will skate 4 on 4 for 4 minutes and then UMD will have a 1 minute PP. Third underway
