Grant Arnold with a nice play at center ice, threw the puck in deep off the boards, Jacobson caught the rebound off the boards and fired it home. Nice play as the replay showed

Anyone else listening to Stickney? Quite interesting to hear him say that Lassonde is also absent tonight..... recruiting. That tells me he's out looking for goalies. Just an observation though.....

Ty Loney is looking good playing with Ostrow and Larraza. Loney very aggressive in the offensive zone thus far.

A solid period for Denver. The Pioneers scored a goal, held Duluth scoreless, there was balance in the territorial play and Denver wasn't outshot by an exponential margin and the scoring came from the fourth line. Now if the top lines can aid and abet the rest of the team things may be looking up for the rest of the weekend.

Miami can help Denver in the PWR this weekend by sweeping Alaska. Halfway thru the 2nd Miami leads 2-1.
