There's a difference between the team not forechecking and the coach burying his guys by pulling the goalie for 3 unanswered goals. That's just flat-out brainless.

I'd walk out. I have a serious problem with some dink having a Napoleon complex and burying his own guys. That's unnecessary,

Gwoz coached two teams to back to back NCs. Calling him brainless? Of course, Herb Brooks was considered brainless for some of his tactics leading up to the 1980 olympics. Good statement by you though. lol.

And you support SCSU? Yeah, Craig Dahl wasn't brainless or anything...LOL...and Motzko is a Gwoz protege.

Perhaps, before you embarrass yourself on this forum any more than you already have, you go and research some of the tactics coaches have used over decades of hockey to motivate their team. I'll even give you a starting point where some, like you, would have considered a complete dick. Please go watch the movie "Miracle" that covers one Herb Brooks' coaching of the 1980 US Hockey Olympic team. Some consider this the "Miracle on Ice" and hence the name of the movie. Also, Herb Brooks was the coach of the Minnesota Gophers hockey team at the time.

I do because I trust Gwoz's instincts. If he felt this is what was needed to "wake up" his team, then heck ya. This team has the talent to be great. Gwoz is trying to teach them that working hard is just as, if not more, important. And they were embarrassing our goaltending by not playing the right way. I think he might have got the team's attention.

So instead of trying to rally the troops when they were down 4-1, he instead buried them. Yeah...that's great leadership.
