Are these "homer" refs or did Eriah Hayes visit them after the game last night?

Hi all. Think this might be my first post of the season but rest assured I've been lurking everyday. Great season so far. No flow to this game with all the pk's but so far so good.

Went to the DU - CC women's soccer game today. Happy to report a 3-1 beat down. Weather was pretty brutal with cold temps and snow for the 1st half. Although, was still a nice fan warm up for next weekend's hockey series. Great to get a NCAA playoff win and nice icing on the cake to end CC's season. Go DU! CC Sucks!

Considering the weather, I think it was pretty good. I'm terrible as estimating numbers, but I'll go with around 500-750. It was fairly quiet for most of the game but some of the students and other crowd got into it every now and then. The DU swim team (I think) ran down the sidelines in their speedos at one point in the second half. Hopefully they'll post some pics for Viz ;-) Had a Swami sighting too. CC brought a pretty good crowd too. Their students were probably louder than the ones at World Arena.

I lost power on Wednesday, 2 days after the hurricane. Today an army of out of town lineman showed up in my neighborhood. They had to figure why everyone was out in the neighborhood. Some people lost power during the storm and a bunch of us 2 days later. They told me they were here until everyone got their power back. Here is the kicker. Our immediate outage was a blown line fuse which took less than an hour to fix. Other parts of the neighborhood had trees down in lines, etc. Myself and the others that lost power Wednesday had no power because of a blown line fuse, an easy fix. Thanks LIPA, !@#$%^&*()(*&^%$#@!@#$%^&*&

The out of town linemen were great. My wife and I offered to get them coffee, etc. One fella from Loosiana said all he wanted was a day off. I have no beef with the workers but the LIPA management should be hung. They lied to everyone and had no handle on the situation. Emergency preparedness was less than zero. BTW, they will NOT be receiving any payment from me.
