MSUM scores. Now 3-2. We'll find out the time of the goal in the paper tomorrow (or maybe the USCHO game summery later tonight).

Oops MSUM goes on the PP. Mayfield called for roughing.

I think Eriah Hayes gained 5 pounds since the start of the game. 215 to 220

End of 2: DU 3 MSUM 2. Very late penalty on MSUM. 4on4 for a few seconds of the 3rd. Thereafter DU on PP.

Jay is in midseason form. It's theoretically possible to give the score and time left too often. Jay is in no danger of ever wandering into that particular mine feld.

He's more focused on dazzling us with the number of synonyms for "0" he can come up with for failing to score on the PP ("bagel," "donut" "collar," etc) than he is in letting us know when goals/penalties occur. I doubt the people at his station even listen to these games. If somebody does listen, they need to let him know what the fundamentals are. Stat.

Red Barber was famous for having an egg timer in the booth with him and giving the score a minimum of every 3 minutes, in a sport without a clock.

Kato and Pios are near the top on penalty minutes in the WCHA. The Mavs are really getting to the Pios mentally at this point. Gwoz will proably have a few words to say about that.

I know Mayfield has to get his nasty in to play well, but the others need to cut it out!
