We're about as predictable as Jay. Okay, he's flying solo and he's gotta vamp to make the scores relevant. But why on earth lead off with the Holy Cross/Army score? There aren't ten people in his audience to give a chit about that game. Why can't he and Rycroft LEAD with the WCHA scores? Just because Holy Cross/Army is first on the list doesn't mean he has to read it first. Ugh.

There are three things a guy like Jay is thinking about during an intermission. He wants a smoke, a coke and a dog. So far, he hasn't had the chance to get any. The hot dogs in the DU Arena had so much nitrates in 'em you could strike 'em like a kitchen match and they'd catch fire. Yummy.

Back in the '80s? My buddy and I were pretty young but we could get into the press box because of his dad and my dad and get as many dogs as we could handle. For the really brave, back then DU would put all unsold dogs in a box as the game ended in the old lobby for anyone to take...as many as you wanted...scary ****. Now we even have foot long DU Death Dogs. Won't touch those.
