My father was on the medical faculty at Northwestern and when my HS was playing out of town we went to games at NU. And one of the great days was when the Wildcats dropped about 45 on Notre Dame (and their stupid helmets with the shamrocks). Just killed 'em. No coaches box in those days. Half the time, on a long pass/run Ara was in the end zone waiting. It was this drubbing that convinced ND that they really needed to hire that crazy man to coach their team.

I'm back. I decided not to watch leaves fall, but travel to a low rent neighborhood to indulge in the chocolate fountain at the Golden Corral. Unfortunately, they ran out of strawberries and I had to use the little cocktail onions they put out.
