No. 3 Denver (0-0-0, 0-0-0 WCHA) opens the 2011-12 season at No. 1 Boston College (2-0-0, 0-0-0 HEA) on Friday, Oct. 14. Puck drop is set for 5:35 p.m. MT at Boston College on Oct. 14. Friday's game will be televised live on CBS Sports Network. The games can also be heard live in Denver on 102.3 FM The TICKET. Live audio and blog are available at www.DenverPioneers.com. Live stats can found at www.WCHA.com.

Drat these matinees. The Crown Royal driver gets all confused. Ready to rock and roll. Hope we have two great games and four points. Depending on how the game goes and how much I consume, I may or may not re-re-re-re tell my Tim Sheehy annecdote.

Cali checking in (we still haven't fallen into the Pacific) had to resubscribe to the sports pack to watch the game, but got it back just in time for Zucker's goal. Lets go Pios
