DU has beaten every team in the WCHA at least once.

Give UMD credit. They have to be asking themselves: "What the bleep do we have to do to beat those guys?" Obviously 65 shots isn't enough.

So DU has now beaten two teams they didn't beat in the regular season to make their way to the Broadmoor Cup Game.

Woo Hoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Officially the longest game in Final Five history!

Gee, I hope tonight's Sioux-Gopher game doesn't go, y'know, fourteen or fifteen innings with both teams exhausting their bullpens for tomorow's game aginst the Pioneers.:eek:

They had at least 62, but may have gotten one or two more. Somehow DU gathered itself. Hanging on by the skin of their teeth after Connolly tied it. They looked and played like they were just waiting for the coup de grace. Found the physical and mental resources to really outplay UMD in the OT's. For the time being, this is a terrific example of why our game is so great.

And to think most of the country is watching bouncyball and the late game marches to the free throw lines. yawn.....morons.

I'm officially digging in to my second helping of crow: first for "Zooker," second for giving up on the boys in the 3rd. You know the old joke about the moron who's hitting his head on the wall? Guy asks him "why are you hitting your head on the wall?" Moron says: "Because it feels so good when I stop."

Let's hope for short memories. On Minnesota North Star's question about shots: they took at least 65 and Sammee made 62 or more saves. I'm just learning this game. Sorry.
