Game over. FSU 2 DU 1. Great effort by FSU. Just outstanding goal tending and penalty killing. Congratulations. Assuming you get Michigan, I doubt you'll need any encouragement from anyone. But, good luck anyway.

Congratulations to the winners and condolences to the losers.
I think it's fitting that defenseman John Ryder--who rarely scores a point--got an assist in his final game for the Pioneers.
An interesting statistic about the Pioneers this season is that they did not win a single game when scoring fewer than three goal. Denver won no games when scoring one or two goals.
My own $.02 is that Jason Zucker and Drew Shore have played their last game for the Pioneers.

It seemed like he was shooting back door all game. Normally, one or two of those go in. He's an exceptionally gutty kid, playing hurt in a big game. I'm not optimistic about him returning next year either. But sometimes miracles happen.

Classy fans from DU. That was a superb game. Both teams played solid. Ferris defense looked much better tonight than against BG a couple weeks ago. An effort like that will keep them in any game the rest of the way.

It looked like he had trouble handling the puck with his "upper body" injury. Got to give it to him for playing hard all game and not being close to 100%. For once could we get into the tourney without half the team in the MASH unit. The boys played hard today and my hat is off to them on a great season.
