Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

I personally know 3 Bernie bros, who spent all night posting stupid memes and all their energy attacking Liz, Pete and Amy. It’s pathetic.

And I don’t care if Iowa had issues with 2016 too- time to relegate Iowa back to the end of the line

CJ would be a lot more believable if she didn't also write stuff like this.

I'm afraid she's a Useful Idiot, solo. She's on the side of good with this one piece but, as with John Bolton, don't bring that scorpion across the river.

I actually agree with her on about 90% of what she posts. 🤘

5 "Super Tuesdays"* where each is a demographically balanced set of 10 states. Go ahead and shove IA and NH in the first one and let their polls close 30 minutes earlier or some bullsh-t.

* And have them on the weekend, preceded by a full week of mail in voting.

Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

Kevin Kruse tweets this morning that in 2012 it took 16 days to decide and announce the winner of the Republican Iowa Caucus.

So maybe people should calm down.

If you have one job every four years and you need days to declare a winner with ~100,000 votes every time, your system sucks and you should be banned from using it ever again.

Just so I have this straight Kep, trix, tica, etc. The evil masterminds who can't even manage a small state's caucus are the same ones who outsmarted Bernie last time and cost him the nomination? Do I have that right? :D

Beyond time for Iowa caucuses to go. If it makes everybody feel better combine first 4 contests all on the same day. IA, NH, NV, SC. That way you get regional and demographic diversity while allowing butthurt states to technically maintain their first in the nation status.

Oh and Scoobs somebody already covered your anti-DNC schtick on Kos. The gist of it was the people who are always complaining that the DNC is too overbearing are now the same ones that wanted the DNC to take over the running of a caucus from the state party?

Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

Oh, Rover. For a guy who rails against Tiger Beat on the Potomac you sure churn out your share of pasteurized DNC-approved talking points. I don't think they're gonna hire you but keep at it, lad.

I see the disaster recovery plan went well. :)

You ever seen a COOP executed correctly?

For years my site's only copy was stored on the server which, in its Assumptions, was assumed inaccessible.

Not surprisingly, you don't. Many of the same people who are documented to have rigged the 2016 primary are behind the scenes in the 2020 primary. But again, that's entirely a coincidence.

Then if those screw ups are working against Bernie he ought to be home free! But I'll ask you, do you REALLY want a guy as President who got punked by Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

Botskis have #MayorCheat, #DNCisCorrupt, and #TomPerezResign now trending on Twatter.

Re: Democratic Challengers 8: Candidates Can Only Work for A Vegan Farm Market

Apparently you missed the entrance polls showing Iowa's Democrats that caucused were more liberal than national Democrats as a whole.

This shouldn't be surprising, considering the left wing of today's Democratic Party is almost wholly made up of white people. Highly educated, relatively affluent, and invisible in a good way (read: not targeted by MAGA morons), white Democrats can afford to be more ideological in choosing their nominee. Someone like Sanders may be viewed, rightly or wrongly, as too ideological and extreme by the more pragmatic Democrats in our "center". Since most of those pragmatic Democrats didn't vote in Iowa's caucuses last night, it stands to reason that the more liberal wing of the party was on center stage.

I don't see how this is necessarily bad for Sanders. At least not until we see actual results. Say he did indeed finish in 2nd behind Buttigieg despite leading in most polls. That would be the dominant story right now instead of conspiracy theories and Iowa state Democratic party incompetence. While that's all being sorted out he gets to go to his best early primary state (NH) where he's the clear favorite.

If saint Bernie doesn’t get 100% of the delegates it means that the process was rigged

Just so I have this straight
Like anything, you don't because your reading comprehension skills are that of a kindergartner.
It is humorous to read comments from reasonably wealthy, college-educated white guys complaining about the "Bernie Bros" who comprise one of the most diverse campaigns in American history.
It's also completely racist.
