Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

I don't see Warren as "divisive" in the least. She's for protecting consumers and curtailing the power of large international banks and financial firms. I judge those to both be popular positions with large majorities of Americans.

We cannot choose our candidates based on the 25% who watch Fox. They will by definition hate anyone their masters tell them to hate. Those people are done. The rest of the country is worth paying attention to; not them.

One of my union members routinely shows up to meetings in his trump/2020 baseball cap. Last month he fussed long and hard about the fact that his employer got a nice tax cut and his paycheck grew by about a dollar. Yet try to tell him a Warren presidency would probably raise his overall take-home pay and he won't have it. Won't listen, doesn't care.

If his part of the electorate was just a quarter of the population you couldn't horde enough people into the right states to ever have a republican win the presidency. It is so God-awfully more than 25%. It may not be half. It's probably not 48% or 49%. But so much more of America is lost, and probably lost for good. The fight demands people realize how hard it will be. This ain't the 1987 Edmonton Oilers taking on Dave Poulin's last Notre Dame team. This is going to be a 7 game final with at least 2 or 3 of them going OT. But we're gonna win God d am n it!

The only thing I can think of is that she adds this to her repertoire, then run as a moderate Dem presidential nominee. While I don't *mind* her, I think Warren is still too divisive to win the presidency.

She gives Biden nothing. She is a worthless add to his campaign.

If those morons were 48% of the population Obama would never have won. There's definitely a set of folks who vote Republican but who aren't afflicted with the inbred idiocy of Hate Radio listeners. There are rich as-sholes who are doing it wittingly for the heists. There are religious as-sholes who are doing it for TEH BAYBEEZ but are otherwise of almost functional intellect, there are lofo as-sholes who know nothing but daddy voted GOP when he wasn't slapping mommy around so they do too.

I just can't bring myself to believe half of America is as crazy, vicious, and stupid as the Dumpies. I don't think we're that far gone.

She doesn't add, but she doesn't subtract, either. She's the safe pick once he declared a woman would be his veep.

Ohio has postponed the primaries.

It appears that the governor recommended they be closed, but had no actual power. Then basically had the state health board add it to the list of places that should close. Then it quickly ran through the courts to the Supreme Court, who upheld the postponement.

I'm seeing a hilarious split in Trump Humpers on Facebook. There's the people who are all in on the racism but are now furious that Chump's incompetence is going to get them killed. Then there's the hardcore believes who would consider it a badge of honor if Chump's incompetence in handling the coronavirus outbreak got them killed!

He should just stay talking to himself in the conspiracy thread

Stop being so myopic. My posts in that thread are about actual conspiracies: the big 4 in the 60’s, the plot to overthrow FDR and Henry Ford, Allen Dulles, JP Morgan Jr. et al committing treason during WWII. All demonstrable facts.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Because I want no part of Jamie Dimon in a cabinet position. I would call that smart but you do you and take Wall Street’s word for it that they care about you.

even Saint Bernie is going to vote for Biden come November.

You're an idiot because TRUMP is the enemy. Even with Dimon in the Cabinet (which is by no means a certainty) that is still better than Trump. You not voting for the Dem candidate is helping Trump win.
So. You are an idiot and an *****-hole. and much like Trix and ticap...if Trump wins...you can shut up about anything involving Trump because you helped do it.
Self sacrifice and get Trump out.

My anti-war and anti-wall street views are absolutely non-negotiable. I don’t apologize for that.
