I don't know either, but personally she was the candidate I've been the most excited about since Bill Clinton in 1992. Back then he represented a breath of fresh air from the idiocy of the previous 12 years and although my home state candidate was a good man and a dedicated public servant (Tsongas) you have to acknowledge when someone else is better equipped to take us to the promised land. Biden is like the Tsongas candidate this time for me - decent guy by most accounts but I would have bet the mortgage that Lizzy would have been better suited to get the handoff and take it to the house. Her ability to explain complex issues and have solutions that fly in the face of the lunacy we're dealing with now (fortunately only 4 years thus far instead of 12) were top notch. Don't get it but c'est la vie. At least she's still in the Senate.

This is how I feel too. Right down to Tsongas, who I liked a lot.

Amazing how you guys keep thinking this is a free stuff communist country when the facts are so different than what all y’all want to see :p

Americans want no part of that. There is a reason after all people here escape that :)

Americans LOVE free sh it, they just don't want other people to get it! That's human nature.

If Sanders goes and tells college kids everything is for free, from tuition to health care to income (UBI), etc paid for by higher taxes on those earning income, who wouldn't be in favor of extending their carefree college days? The problem is 10 years down the road, after you've gotten a job and paid down some of your student loans, if Sanders is trying to tax you to benefit the next generation you're more likely to say no way. Not saying that's right but if Sanders held the people who voted for him last time and added the 18-22 year olds who are now eligible to vote he'd be increasing his totals vs 2016. Somebody's stepping off the socialism train and I'm guessing its the people who are becoming more high earners but who still don't feel like they're attained "plute" status.

I hear ya but I don't know....I'd like to see her remain true to herself, and if she's not going to be Prez it sure seems like she's more ideologically aligned with Sanders. Biden also doesn't seem like the kind of guy who would hold it against her so hopefully no worries there. In the end though I'm not sure her endorsement will have the impact that the Clyburn/Klobacher/Buttigieg/O'Rourke endorsements did for Uncle Joe which completely changed the race.
Really? Biden was always going to get their supporters with or without endorsements, based simply on policy alignment. If Liz endorses him and brings more liberals into the Biden camp, I think that would be huge for him.

She will never have this leverage again. If she can get Biden to back the bank truck up she could go with him. Assuming she gets enough*, with actionable guarantees, I say do it. I would rather have a 100% chance of 50% of what I want than a 50% chance of 100% of what I want.

I am a conservative fellow... ;)

* Far stronger CFPB, consumer-friendly credit reform, major financial services reforms, her choice of Fed Chair

If she can get that out of MBNA Joe, that's a helluva get.

Klobacher endorsing Bernie most likely puts him over the top in Minnie, maybe even by a good amount. Lizzy dropping before Mass and endorsing Bernie gives him that state as well. Just seemed like Biden's campaign was much, much more coordinated when it came down to consolidating support. I also think O'Rourke backing Bernie in Texas would have helped too. Given his narrow loss there perhaps he could have at least achieved bragging rights even if it didn't yield a large delegate lead.

Buttigieg and Bernie seemed incompatible IMHO given his ardent incremental approach to healthcare and I don't think there's anything Sanders could have done to earn that endorsement.

It's OK if other people get it as long as they look like them.

That's human nature.

He doesn't need them anymore. He's playing in a higher league, he doesn't have to stay bought.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Under no circumstances would I vote for Bernie. And while I don't think Biden can win, I would vote for him. I live in MA so it's irrelevant anyway.

It's never irrelevant. If you would vote for Dump even sit it out if he was against Sanders then you are helping Dump destroy the country. Good day, sir.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

Sure seems that way unless you live in a true swing state. And if it was Trump/Sanders I would look for 3rd party. Might even write in Jerry York.

Re: Democratic Challengers 2020 - 12: The End of the Beginning

For any of you that live in a swing state, I envy you.

Needs to be Gubmint. Remember the Information Superhighway? That was proposed by Clinton.

Bill Clinton.

That was 25 years ago. We could have had it for 20 years now. Guess who stopped it?

Jeffrey Epstein. That's why the Clintons had him killed.
