Deadliest Catch - Season 7

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

Junior is a ****** to be sure, but Elliott is a crybaby and should have not called Jr after he was outed - he just comes off as a jilted teenage girl.

And Jake set himself back a bit, although that wasn't his first tantrum.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

I really feel as though commercial fishermen pull what Junior is doing quite often. This show finally has someone that is willing to do it in front of the cameras. The other captains are all buds, to an extent. Junior is not.

Didn't Elliot say he wouldn't say where he got his information about Junior? "You didn't hear it from me"? And then on his call to Junior he says the guy's name anyway? Yeah, good move there. Even if Junior didn't rat you out, he just saw it on national TV.

That said, I think the drama is ratcheted way up for the cameras and by Discovery.

Did anyone else have flashbacks to Blake when Jake had his meltdown that might prevent him from being a captain? Different reasons, same results (maybe)

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

Two things:

1) I have no idea what made me think it's a good idea to eat when this show is on

2) Keith and another greenhorn. Enough said.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

I feel for Jake. New boat. Trying to prove himself. Nerves.

Elliot is going to end up killing someone someday. He more than any other captain seems to get distracted by his emotions to the point where he doesnt seem to pay attention to what is going on.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

Never mind that for a moment. I want to know who jumped in the ocean at the end there.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

They are messing with Jake, and so far it seems as though he knows it. Keeping his head down and plugging away.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

So they shot off mortars to celebrate a football game (that the Seahawks didn't even win) and nearly blew Dave's hand off. Good call.

Re: Deadliest Catch - Season 7

I was catching up on some older episodes from this season and was wondering if anyone here knows where Elliott allegedly had his "full boat" to play hockey at?

I was wondering about that... Honestly, I'm thinking CIS....
