Re: Dead!!!!

Wow! And this after he did not die in a snowboarding September 8, 2013 at the exact same place!
Snowboarding can be dangerous.

This snowboarding death hoax has been going around for months. It popped up in February, December, November, August, July and at least five times before that.

Murphy isn't the only celebrity to become the victim of a death hoax. Many celebrities have died in the same exact snowboarding incident. They include Adam Sandler, Denzel Washington, Jim Carrey, and even Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Re: Dead!!!!

James Avery, 65.

Uncle Phil from the Fresh Prince of Bel Air.

You wouldn't always know it, but he was a great actor, and he and Will Smith both got some amazing moments out of a normally silly and fun show.

Not only was that scene a great example of Avery simply reacting to Smith's rant, but that hug at the end was unscripted (supposedly) and a result of two actors improvising in a very emotional scene.

I have seen that episode a dozen times and it gets me every time! Ben Vereen as the Deadbeat Dad is just so odd to me and Will just nailed that scene.

James Avery was a dang good actor...

Re: Dead!!!!

I also remember him being Kelso's training officer in the later seasons of That 70's Show, which he nailed. I'll miss him. Very good actor with one of those voices that gives me goosebumps.

That was Ben Vereen? Cause he's playing the same role on NCIS.

Yes it was and yes he kinda did! When I saw that I said out loud "Why do they keep making Ben Vereen the deadbeat dad?" At least he was just the uncle on Webster :D
