Oh jeeze. That's young.

liked him until I saw him on top chef. Kind of treated everyone like shit.

Too bad. made good food.

edit: oh fuck. Unexpected anaphylactic shock.

I used to wake up in the morning and watch him on Food Network along with Sara Moulton. Seemed so warm and inviting.

To Fade's point, he might have been an absolute teddy bear outside of the kitchen chef-cook relationship. But every other chef on the show had a serious problem with his attitude. Which said a lot.

From everything I've read and heard Ramsay is apparently a real gent in a real kitchen, and that his antics on Hell's Kitchen and Kitchen Nightmares for instance are for show only, and that it would be extremely rare for him to flare up in real life.

I"ve heard the same thing, namely from folks who live in Houghton who interacted with him a couple times.

Episode? Oh I didn't know there was a show he did there. Which one was it?

He started working on his own Bourdain-esque TV series a few years back, and one of the episodes was the Keweenaw. At the end of the show, he cooks for his local guides using local ingredients. It's called Gordon Ramsay: Uncharted.
