It was long ago, it was far away. It was so much better than it is today. Godspeed Meatloaf. Thank you for the penultimate song of my high school years.
 
Coming out of my posting exile for Louie.

Louie grew up in my hood, and several of my friends and family knew he and his family back in the day. Louie had his demons, but god he was funny. And this one hurts.

Speaking only for myself, I have told people to block others on this site. I kind of associated what uno said as essentially the same. He didn't like it and told* you and others to stop posting Twitter links and listed his reasons. I figured his demand* was no different from mine telling people to block other users here. So I didn't think anything of it and I didn't presume to speak for you.

If you didn't like what he was saying, I think it's incumbent on you to tell him that. I certainly didn't get involved because a) I'm very guilty of posting Twitter links blindly and kind of quietly slinked away in guilt and b) I think of you (like nearly all here) as perfectly able, willing, and proficient at defending yourself.

if you felt we should have come to your defense or asked uno to calm down, I'm sorry I didn't do that. I didn't think it was my place to do so.

I do value your posts here and hope you take the time you need and come back and continue to post here. You're a valuable member of this community and we'd be worse off without your additions.

I feel the same way about uno as well. All of it. I don't always agree with you, uno, or anyone else on this site and that's what makes it great.

I asked uno to give me his posting guidelines since he was complaining. He never responded, shockingly.

white male in gender thread comes at me and then cowers away. Can’t make it up

Also he came at me way more directly than anyone else from what I could tell.

I missed all of this but my impression has always been both you and uno are always on the up and up. Could this be a misunderstanding by one or both of you?

He went after me in two threads, one directly. I kindly asked for him to give me posting guidelines since he accused me of posting nonsense. The master god himself never bothered to respond- he just wanted to rag on me and like I said, none of y’all cared

I'll let uno respond to that part of your post. He doesn't post super often so that might be why he didn't reply.

But I honestly felt like he was broadcasting it to a much wider audience including me. I didn't think he was just targeting you, which doesn't mean you shouldn't feel like it was or wasn't. You just happened to be the person who most recently posted when the opportunity arose.

Not trying to downplay your feelings, just my perspective for whatever that's worth. I do hope you'll come back. I was thinking about asking if you were on vacation or if something happened.
