Jim Kelly:

I might have lost 4 Super Bowls in a row, but I've kicked cancer's a* twice, and plan on making it a third time, with the grace of God.

KellyTough, all the way.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race..

@CTVNews: Roger Bannister, first to run mile in under 4 minutes, dies http://ctv.news/syeYtLj

"Ladies and gentlemen, here is the result of event nine, the one mile: first, number forty one, R. G. Bannister, Amateur Athletic Association and formerly of Exeter and Merton Colleges, Oxford, with a time which is a new meeting and track record, and which—subject to ratification—will be a new English Native, British National, All-Comers, European, British Empire and World Record. The time was three...(minutes 59.4 seconds)"

@TechHockeyGuide: We're saddened to hear about yesterday's passing of long time @mtuhky radio voice Bob Olson. His influence was far reaching throughout @collegehockey as the creator of the first national poll on WMPL. #mtuhky

Paul Magriel.

Certainly one of the more interesting and memorable characters I had a chance to meet. You would see Paul playing poker around Las Vegas all the time, and I had a chance to play with him.

But even with his interesting background, the first thing I think about when I think of him is a night I was playing at a poker table with him at the Flamingo. Paul was wearing matching neon orange Swatches, one on each wrist. A tourist asked him why he wore two watches and his response was, "I have homes in both Los Angeles and Las Vegas and I don't want to have to keep changing the time on my watch."

The tourist nodded and said, "makes sense," and the conversation ended.

Of course, both cities are in the same time zone. :p

He made us actually think. THINK. Few individuals now could do that.

Well done, sir. Hundreds of years from now, the name Stephen Hawking will still be remembered.
