When it comes to free speech are we not able to react by doing nothing and simply rejecting without comment?

...and for many, you will 'apparently' accept the position. Just as people have the right to free speech...people have the right to opinion based on others actions.

MSNBC has a guy on that is stating the student killed was a Somali student at OSU and that this was a planned attack based on information he has received. I'm not seeing any confirmation yet.

Ten injured, nine stable, one critical.

Ok, so the fire alarm wasn't pulled. There was apparently a gas leak (I've heard fluorine, which is nasty as ****) at a valve which was investigated by first responders (no word if it was fire, hazmat, etc). Also no word of it was related to the attack.

There was apparently just one suspect according to msnbc. I'm still seeing reports that two people got out of the vehicle and there hasn't been any GD reporter that has asked about the guys arrested in the parking garage.

This coming from the presser.

...then don't get your undies in a bunch whenever someone calls you a racist. For some reason, we aren't repeatedly reminded of free speech in those situations.

As much as you have free speech, we have free speech to poke fun at your free speech. Heck, y'all exercise it on me often. :p

So why do those on the right constantly use the first amendment to defend racist/bigoted comments?

It encourages the right...to attack 99.9% of innocent Muslim Americans...which in turn causes mainstream Muslims to be open to extremist arguments. The stupid thing is nobody is claiming racists/bigots are breaking the first amendment...but you must defend them anyways.
