Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

Yeah the only thing I can think so far is some of the stories mentions he's a somewhat serious gambler, maybe something went wrong for him there? But that's a complete guess. Nothing really of note thus far.

Wouldn't that be somewhat similar to the incident in the Phillipines a few months ago? The theory makes sense to me.

There is an answer, and it comes when you take your focus away from the gun. Or the bullets. Or any implement for that matter.

We are in a very fragile state, as evidenced not only by the attacks of all sorts (whether gunfire, arson, wayward vehicles, etc.), but also by the environment even on the political threads here. When both sides choose to set their differences aside and promote peace in respecting our differences will there be an answer.

I would say banning assault weapons is a start. They're military weapons and that's where they should remain. So at least let's make that step.

JFC, I knew I shouldn't have peeked.

Don't grow a conscience on us now, Flaggy. You'll only confuse yourself.

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

Plenty of reports out there on the shooter and so far no one has any idea why this guy went crazy.

I haven't been following the story, but that in itself is kind of a good thing. During tragedies people, of both sides of the political spectrum, are way to quick to say what the problem was and not do the right thing and wait for actual facts.

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

That in itself is scary as hell. How can a person go from being normal, with no warning signs, to doing this kind of thing?

when we learn his middle name, that's when we will know he was in the secret cia mind control project

A voice of reason. Thank you. Somehow I'm not sure how long it will last with most of the numpties around here, but it should be commended.

Yeah. You cannot hope to address the reasons for the guy wanting to action. There will always be anger. All you can do is address enablers of mass death - the most dangerous weapons and the ability to easily use them.

I wouldn't say that setting differences aside, as I would prefer to have that to be able to defend myself. And if I were your neighbor, I would also offer to defend you, as well as the entire neighborhood. Whether you'd like that service or not is your choice, and will be respected. I would have zero desire to attack you, and would ensure steps that no one has the ability to attack you with it. It's called a safe. I would actually use it.

And then when they drive an 18-wheeler into the crowd, just like what's happening in "gun free" England, are you going to ban that as well?

Re: Days Since Last Mass Shooting: 0 - II

Both sides were wrong at the country festival in Vegas. The gunmen for shooting people and the crowd for not being armed to the teeth and complying with security.

Can't you just take a double dose of your sad tinydick pills to compensate for the fact that you're a weak, insecure loser rather than putting the rest of us in danger?

eventually 18-wheelers won't have steering wheels or drivers

Just because you can't stop death by 18 wheeler...doesn't mean that you can't try to do something about mass gun shootings.

*headdesk* *headdesk* *headdesk*

You're so focused on the implement that you fail to see what the actual issue is.

Still trying to not only dictate how I should live my life, especially when I am ensuring you aren't directly affected, but are also trying to pill push, eh?
