Now with this upset (Congrats Go Jackets) and almost every DIII in action this weekend, we will see a different and more reliable poll from Mania. Reliable in that we will actually see some scores from teams in the top 10 that have not played yet.

Say What? Nice rose colored glasses. Dominate Wisconsin maybe! One speed player is not going to cover for a bunch of skilled slugs. (Sorry to be so harsh, but it is what it is!) Gustavus still the skilled-speed team that doesn't know or can not to put a team away.:eek: Looks like another year of playing down to their competition. It is a final, du dah taaa daaaaaah, "Finals" for D-III in the East!!!!! AGAIN;)

Say What? A 1-2-1 team against an 0-0-1 team. I didn't see any great prognostications on this game. Even LoJ was eerily quiet. From what I watched, an above average mediocre team against a goal deficient team. Ho hum!!! Any real hockey is starting this weekend back here on the EAST COAST. :cool: ;) :cool:

NESCAC finally kicks off this evening!

Trinity led Cortland 1-0 on a goal by Wiggin, and stands at 2-0 after the 2nd thanks to Komarek.

Trinity wins their home opener 2-0 over Cortland, despite having a goal called back (& correction, apparently the 2nd goal was attributed incorrectly, and should have been credited to Harvey). :D
