Superior has trouble putting the puck in the net. 1 for 40 isn't good, no matter who the goalie is. I'm assuming the box score is wrong that UWSP scored an empty netter 1 minute into the 3rd.

According to the box score, there was a SH goal, 2 even strength goals by Point, Superior played with an empty net for 19+ minutes. nbound stated "no even strength goals". I'm cornfused.

whoever was entering the stats had an off night, kind of like the UWS shooters. ;)

on the uwsp web site the box score reads it 3 PP goals for the game. There was only a short period of time for UWS with an empty net. UWS controlled the first. Point pretty much controled the second ans Point wound up playing better 3rd period hockey and winning the game towards the end on PP.

all other violations would stem from local mores -- in VT that would be mixing woolens with spandex, having fake syrup or not yielding four times at a four-way stop.

From what I understand it's usually something nonsensical like being late on the ice...or too early on the ice...or not ready for the opening faceoff when the clock runs out...something LAME like that. Nothing major...just an NCAA thing...but it could've been devastating to the outcome of the game last night had RIT scored on that PP. Really set the tone. Great save by Mandy saved PSU's bacon!!
