D1 Scores and Highlights

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

I LOVE it tooooo! I never get sick of watching the Gophs school North Dakota! (3 weekends in a row i think?) I'd watch them do it again next weekend but looks like Minnesota will have other engagements!

LOL...that is funny. In all seriousness, she's only defensive in comparison to oft d partner Fortino. Her offensive skill is pretty sick.

It was all part of an elaborate ruse by the ECAC coaches for the award... just plant that seed of doubt that she'd ever take the puck all the way herself... that was enough ;)

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

It is also pretty amazing that after combining for 14 goals in the first 60 minutes they played 59:50 with no scoring. I fully expected the game to be decided pretty quickly in OT.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Disappointed but what can you say...., that was an amazing playoff hockey game. Congrats to Cornell.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

What a great hockey game to watch in my top 5 college hockey games of all time (MEN or WOMEN)! It is too bad that I had to watch it on such a horrible resolution on a bad internet feed with two of the worst commentators EVER (no clue at all). I wish the NCAA would get their wallets out and get these games on TV!

Talk about two different games in one. I had planned to go, but other commitments got in the way....Sure looked like I missed a good one, two games for the price of one.

Congrats to the Big Red. Third year in a row to the Final Four. Hopefully they can land into the one spot they have yet to land in. Won't be easy, as they might have to in and through the heart of the WCHA.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

UND has figured out how to shutout the Gophers. Don't put in a goalie. Minnesota can't hit the empty net to save their lives.

Doesn't matter. 5-1 final.
