D1 Scores and Highlights

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Live stats from Madison? Change in game time? What gives? Thanks!

No video and no game tracker...nothing worked today and as usual with these services the people in charge are asleep at the wheel...I was basically told that there was no problem...even though the video started instantly yesterday, although with no audio in the first period.

Today, after several attempts to get it started the 'watch" button disappeared and then the "launch" button for the game tracker (live stats) later disappeared while the game drained away...at which point you would not be able to get it started even if it wanted to cooperate with you since the command buttons were gone. These services are some of the most poorly run that I have ever come across. You can't be sure from one day to the next what you are going to get (one period, two, the whole game, good video quality or bad, audio or not, etc., etc.) if anything...but one thing is certain...they already have your money.

I've asked for a refund...we'll see.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

I wonder if it was something with your computer. I had video, audio and a live blog to follow. Sorry it wasn't working for you.

Wisconsin beats UMD in OT to take the weekend sweep.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Bemidji and Minnesota are scoreless, just over the midway point of the 2nd. BSU's goaltender is saving their shorts right now.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Minnesota now up 2-0, just under 6 to go in the 2nd. Schoullis on the 2nd goal. I did not see the first goal.

This could get ugly in a hurry.

....or not

Bemidji scores on a PP, Lundquist.

Minnesota 2
Bemidji 1

That's always the first question that comes to mind but it has only been my computer/me once. And it worked fine yesterday and I didn't add any programs or do anything to alter the functioning of the computer since watching the game yesterday.

They had technical problems with the audio yesterday..no audio for the first period..this was mentioned by the commentators. So I figured that they had more problems today. And if command buttons are disappearing from their site that can't be caused by my computer. And everything else has worked fine today.

Anyway, how was the game? Did I miss a good one?

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Bemidji ties it up on the PP. Awful turnover by the Minnesota player led to a goal that barely got through the Gopher goaltender.

Huber with the goal.

15:06 to go.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Emily West with a SHG after a bad turnover at the blue line by Bemidji.

Minnesota 3
Bemidji 2

5:13 to go.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Bemidji ties it with :48 to go, 6x5. Erika Wheelhouse. And that puck just barely got across the line.

Overtime.

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Bit of a surprise in Erie.

Former Hurst Associate head coach and now head of the helm for RMU, Paul Colontino accompanied by Hurst Grad Ashley Harper along side on the bench, beat the Lakers in their first return visit to Erie.

Final, 3-2.

Congrats to coach Paul!

And RMU's win tonight breaks the all-time season win record for RMU Women! Congrats to the coaches, including RMU grad and US Olympian Bri McLaughlin and ALL the players for this hard earned win!

Re: D1 Scores and Highlights

Ohio State completes the sweep over Minnesota State by a final score of 4-2. Goals were scored by Taylor Kuehl, Natalie Spooner, Ally Tarr, and Kelly Wild. Lisa Steffes got her second win this weekend in goal for the Buckeyes. With the sweep, the Buckeyes moved into 4th place in the WCHA, only trailing Wisconsin, Minnesota, and North Dakota. The Buckeyes will host North Dakota in a key series next weekend.
