D1 2018-19 scores, discussion, etc

Re: D1 2018-19 scores, discussion, etc

Pretty incredible results this weekend. Dartmouth over Quinnipiac in OT as well.

and Syracuse over Penn. What's going on at Penn? Might need to start suspending players again.

This result surprised me as well. I would have picked a split beforehand, but didn’t expect Penn State to get shut out. We’ll see what happens tomorrow.

Does anyone know the last time Brown swept a conference weekend?! And this wasn't even against Union and RPI. This was Colgate and Cornell they swept. Congrats to them again!

Congrats to Brown but I will say that I will give Cornell a pass on this loss since they were missing their best forward O'Neill and their 2 best d Hart and Bourbonaise. None the less I still would have expected Cornell to win this game. The more surprising result is Brown knocking off Colgate.

OK, ECAC, I will do this for you just this once, since ARM apparently is refusing to do your research. On 2/15/2013 and 2/16/2013, Brown beat Union and RPI. And that time was against Union and RPI.

There have been a few Brown weekend sweeps since then:
Nov of 2014 they swept Maine
Oct of 2016 they swept Sacred Heart
Feb of 2017 they swept Harvard/Dartmouth.

Ha! Well done.

As I have found many times in my marriage and my career: if you don't want to do something, do it shoddily and someone else will take it over. I will drop the keys to the ECAC Hockey Research Department Executive Washroom into the mail. Cheers!

So to answer my question, which was specifically about their last conference sweep, it was Feb 2017. Was that at home or away?

I used to be on here a lot a long time ago as a frequent contributor, but only visit sparingly in recent years. Brown is one of the teams I happen to follow, and good to see that after some tough years they appear to be improving. Go Bruno.
