CWHL expands to Alberta

Re: CWHL expands to Alberta

I'm sure your wise words and sage advice are considered truly invaluable by the Whitecaps organization.

Maybe the Whitecaps and all involved are completely engrossed with your ever present objectivity  and therefore await your input with unmitigated enthusiasm and anticipation.

But I doubt it. :)

Put the Thesauras away Brokey.

If the Whitecaps do get in they will be looking for fans that pay to attend to support the team. You don't fit the demographic they will need to make them successful.

The reality is they'll be looking for a much larger and very different demographic for potential long term success. Nothing in the article addressing or relating to fan base as an issue in the disagreement and philosophical conflicts. So your "observation" is nothing more than a very typical completely ineffective cheap shot meant to fulfill your lifetime lofty goal to insult me and therefore laughable in it's dense irrelevance...much like your "crying" characterization. Not too mention...yawn, "ho hum." :)

Actually Brokey...the reality is they need to come up with $200 large and I doubt that the entire state of Minnesota could raise that amount of coin let alone the Whitecaps so....

We are so fortunate and thankful...in this time of thanks, for your indisputable expertise and generous distribution of your vast knowledge of the economic conditions in our beloved North Star State.

An article on the state of the CWHL by Kristina Rutherford for Sportsnet Magazine.

Well written piece. Unfortunately she missed the point (made earlier in this thread) that the NHL skipped supporting the growth of the sport at the grassroots level by sponsoring the CW, because it supports the growth of the sport at the grassroots level directly through beau coup bucks poured into Hockey Canada and USA Hockey.
