One thing that I’ve extrapolated from their hysteria- their “family values” is 100% fake. We knew that, but considering that they mock the concept of saving lives and preventing suffering- it’s one more brick in their wall of the desire of control. And they fabricate reasons to make it think they are for things which are completely fake.

Abortion isn’t about babies, otherwise they would care about the lives of people in many other ways. Family values isn’t about happy families, it’s about forcing people to fit into their small minded views.

Seriously, why in the world would anyone mock peoples efforts to save lives and prevent suffering? How unchristian can you get? Every hysterical post that pretends this is a nothing burger just reenforces that. So good for you, chucky and whalers, your hate just spews through your fake news.

Next thing you know, they will attack ambulances going to accidents, since far fewer die and go to hospitals from car accidents than covid.

Just saw a tshirt reminding me what today is. Which has turned out to be a massive reminder of the BS from the right.

They constantly tout how they remember the hero’s of 9/11, but how many years have they fought against the health relief of the hero’s they are supposed to be remembering?!?!

Or how they remind us “freedom isn’t free” but always refuse to actually pay for it- like funding the war on terror instead of blowing up the debt/deficit. Or worse, refusing to pay for the care of those actual hero’s who have fought for this country. Vets should have the best physical and mental care available, but all the right can do is say “thank you for your service.”

These people who seem to want to make patriotism a competition lose on the actual support of the people who have sacrificed.
 
More info. My hospital system (14 hospitals, literally hundreds of outpatient clinics) is not mandating mask use yet but likely will if things don't improve or level off. Testing positivity rate is now up over 10% for the first time in longer than I can remember. Hospital census's are up as well, which is the lagging indicator we hoped to avoid.


But yeah. Just nonsense, right?

Anti-abortion has never been about anything except punishing women for having sex.

Conservatives are so small, in so many ways, they murder women to try to force them to be sexually submissive. Because if women choose their partners, no matter how many they have they aren't choosing conservatives.

Conservatives cannot survive in the free market. Not in science, not in education, and not in desirability. Their only chance is coercion, and trying to force everyone to be as stupid and backwards and miserable as they.

Dear mask-pushers,

What’s actually “wrong, selfish, and stupid” is expecting everyone in the world to cover their faces, obstruct their breathing, & impede their ability to emote & communicate in perpetuity because you can’t manage your health anxiety.

The number of lives you’re entitled to restrict in service of your fears is exactly one: your own.
