I'm wondering if I finally make the crossover and get a Moderna this go around. It seems there's probably very little difference between the two in terms of performance at this point.

But something in the back of my head says "Look, your body has seen the Pfizer approach enough. Maybe there's something subtlety different about the Moderna. Like the way rebar isn't much in terms of total volume of concrete but it makes it that much better."

It's based on nothing scientific. Just pondering out loud.

I respect the line of thinking. After my not good Covid experience I was worried about vaccine mixing, but did it last time after talking over with a few docs.

We mixed them based on some evidence that crossing them made them more effective. So far, so good.

Shooting for November for the next booster.

Doctors told me that I should wash my myself regularly - showering every couple days at least, washing my hands after using the bathroom or handling uncooked meats and so on. All of that made me realize that showers and hand washing all require soap, shampoo, toothpaste and water. That means doctors are in league with both Big Clean and Big Water! I’ll have to truck with a Big Anything, so I’m done with washing things and drinking water for anything made with it.

My doctor also told me that I had to eat and drink water or I'll die. So clearly he's getting payback from Perrier and Syngenta. Bastards.

If you are unsure of which version of the vaccine to get, the correct version is the one that's available. That's the message I've read repeatedly. Don't stress waiting for Moderna or Pfizer. I would recommend waiting for these versions to be made available (vs. getting one now, unless your doctor directs you otherwise), because anything CVS may give out now is last year's.



And again, I'll add that sure this could all easily look like a conspiracy if you've no idea how vaccines - or medicine in general - work.
