New York City Mayor Di Blasio this morning pleading for help...will run out of much needed materials by the middle of April...'lights are on but no one is home" at the federal government. "A lot of people are going to die that don't need to die, the President much act in a matter of days to mobilize the US military". I don't know much about how the military works in this instance...Also listened to a veteran doc who was asked about why hospitals etc are so underprepared...his basic comment was people have been discouraged from hospitalization wherever possible; so, they just aren't stocked up on these things. The need for a ton of ventilators just aren't on the top of the list, was his basic answer. I won't watch today's presser; it's just too hard and uninformative. I hear Dr. F is back on, thank God for that.

We should be prepared no matter what as who knows what the next big pandemic would hit I would think? Our approach to health care is abysmal anyway; this pandemic sure does expose that fact. This won't be the last...Anyway, help those hospitals right now, and protect people like my niece and others on the front lines of this!!!! This is the United States of America for God's sake!! :mad: Be well...

I heard that two days ago on WFAN. I guess if you have the money, you can buy anything. The sad thing was that none of the media talking about the players being tested even questioned why those tests could not have been put to better use for others more in need. I hope the source that you heard it from at least was complaining about it.

Chuck... I don't think you're this stupid. I understand the stress everyone is under right now, but it's time to take a step back, seriously consider where you're getting your "news" from, and pitch in to help share helpful information. Lives are literally at stake right now.
Think of it this way: if we all do the right thing, the plague will be much diminished, and Trump has a good chance at reelection. If you keep up this cultish suicide pact with people like Ann Coulter, a million people will die, Trump is out, there's a second Great Depression, and we'll be ruled by socialists for 50 years.
It's not worth it, man.

So, ignoring your political hot button rants about the libs and the main stream media, lets focus on the substance. Do you think the 150 will remain steady? If so, what facts is that belief based on?

Of all things to slow down in the supply chain, I think some people’s meds are getting the short shift.

My normally level headed father in law is starting to send emails to the family saying “seems the right for gatherings are being taken away by the government. First amendment right”

Clearly some people get brain rot when they stay inside too long.

Lol. I’ve encountered similar. I have replied with they have the “right” to run red lights and stop signs, sure you’ll get a ticket, but you don’t HAVE to step on that brake pedal.......
