So one of the idiots that wants this to end is wearing a mask? Because why? God, this is NEVER going to end if crap like this continues.

I like the one whose mask is covering his chin and mouth, but not his nose. Also love all the violations of social distancing going on. :)

Lots of winning and lib-owning going on in that crowd.

I don't think an ambulance has the ability to run over F150s.

Oh, they're blocking with vehicles. Gotcha. I assumed it was like other protests where they just lay down in the streets.

I say just have a tow truck come over and drag them off making sure to put the drive-wheels on the ground.

They should get so close together to each other that it becomes a hazard for the police to give them citations. Big tremendous groups, great and loud groups. All with wonderful chanting. Hailing your master. Then two weeks from now, we will have less to worry about.

We're three weeks from when the shelter-in-place started, and while we all know none of these people have been holed up the whole time to prevent being contagious, anyone who would be *likely* symptomatic would be ill by now, or showing some signs, and likely not there. Fortunately. Or unfortunately. Take your pick.

Another "see this shelter-in-place is bullsh**" example for those who don't understand how this works.

Fine by me. Just as long as they don't get ventilators when the time comes.

"Defying social distancing to own the libs".

Goddam, people are stupid.

Not "people." Republicans.

Why do people need to use his own words against him? It’s so UNFAIR!

P.S. “Leave Britney alone!”

Re: COVID-19 The 7th Part: We're Gonna Be Number One Soon!

A friend on Twitter commented on the Lansing protests by saying:
When we talk about #PureMichigan, this is what they mean. This is a very ... monochromatic protest.

Re: COVID-19 The 7th Part: We're Gonna Be Number One Soon!

Well we should definitely reopen...I mean its obviously working! I mean come on guys we are only losing 2000 people a day. That is like a small fraction of the population!

Re: COVID-19 The 7th Part: We're Gonna Be Number One Soon!

Saw a hilarious exchange on Facebook between two acquaintances from playing MTG. One is a black guy implying that Trump let the virus go because it attacks black people disproportionately, the other is white guy who works for Americans for Prosperity who just had to defend Trump.

Most hilarious exchange I’ve read in a while.

But that's not what the Republican voters in my Twitter feed, and the consultant I know who works for big pharma clients are telling me! ;)

Missouruh too:

https://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/missouri-governor-parson-absentee-ballot-election

Missouri Gov. Mike Parson (R) said Tuesday that fear of getting sick from COVID-19 or abiding by the his own stay-at-home order does not qualify voters to request an absentee ballot, calling absentee voting “more of a political issue than anything.”

“This is a Democrat-Republican issue and that’s where this is all headed, is to a political answer and what’s driving behind this force,” he added at his daily press briefing.

Parson’s office did not immediately respond to requests for clarification.

Going a step further, the Governor said that now is not the time to talk about election administration, though his state is slated to conduct local elections at the beginning of June.
