Do well meaning people, like Dick Vitale and his recent plea for politicians to act responsibly, do more harm than good when they simply call out the politicians generically? It's great that he realizes the health of people is more important than basketball or a temporary downturn in the economic fortunes of the world, but it infuriates me when they refer to politicians as if the entire political infrastructure right now wants to end social distancing and isolation and "get back to work." I don't see the responsible governors or mayors saying that. I don't see any of the democrats in the U.S. House or Senate saying that. I see republicans. If it walks and talks like a fvcking duck, it's probably a duck. republicans are the problem. End. Of. Story. Just say it.

Public figures have to say "politicians" or the Dumpies in their audience immediately shut down. This way some truth may actually get in via reach around: "Politicians who do this suck" --> (Dump does this) --> "Hey wait a minute!"

We can just call the Republicans out for being scum because our lack of any influence actually frees us up to speak the truth.

Why can't more Americans see this is EXACTLY the same kind of behavior trump exhibits when he lies and invents things. Hell, this might be MORE believable than some of the stool samples that come out of trump's pie hole.

Evidently doctors and nurses in Cincinnati hospitals had an automatic wage cut kick in because they were doing outdoor volunteer work which they did not bill for.

God bless for profit medicine.
