I was overdue for a haircut when everything got shut down,so while my face still gets trimmed and shaved, my hair is past shoulder length and gets curly.

CO is letting stay at home order expire 4/27. Plan seems to pretty much match up with the fed plan's phase 1.

Hoax. Lack of testing clearly proves this is not true. Fake News.

Re: Covfefe-19: We Can Handle Slight Inconveniences. Part 8.

7 cases isnt going to convince anyone to change in person voting. They are already willing to let people die for their right to gather at Applebees.

Today is day 14, so any symptoms would be coming into bloom.

I think the awareness of the virus by keeping distance, hand washing, no face touching, etc. is going to help minimize this.

Staying home really helped knock this virus on it's a**.

Josh Marshall at TPM posted a chart about that just this morning. Basically, too small a sample to draw any definite conclusions for the time being.

If you get some extra chilis, I would be interested in discussing a transaction....

Roger. Doubtful we'll have anything this year, but we might get something in the ground yet this spring.

Re: Covfefe-19: We Can Handle Slight Inconveniences. Part 8.

-My wife has been cutting my hair for 20 years so no change there
-Been spending a bit more time in the garden. I've since planted cilantro, onions, tomatoes, gardenias and jasmine.
-Baked a few dozen cookies and half a dozen cheesecakes. Gave most of it away to neighbors
-Taking the dog for a walk every day instead of just the kids
-Working from home so my wardrobe has severely been limited
-Have had alcohol 3 times since the end of March. Not a huge drop from normal but at least 50%
-Explored Netflix quite a bit more than before. They have more documentaries, independent and foreign films than I realized

Re: Covfefe-19: We Can Handle Slight Inconveniences. Part 8.

i still work a small amount, all from home. Mrs. burd, who still goes to work part time (medical facility), and I watch a lot more netflix and HBO than we ever did. I have done lot of woodworking for years, so I'm in the shop a lot. Only issue there is my hardwood supplier has been closed. I keep a fairly good supply, but the big stores, which are open, don't sell the kind of hardwood I need. It has been nice to have extra time to improve storage methods, sharpen knives and blades, and tune power tools.

It's also kind of nice having time for general home maintenance, like taking apart and cleaning the dishwasher, which I would not have had the time or patience to do.

I'm a native Nodak, so I don't have many teeth, but those I had appear to be falling out from inattention. Don't think Mrs. burd has even noticed. Now there's a woman.

This is purely a campaign ploy. No one wants to come here cause we don't know how to ****ing test anyone.

I’m SURE those protesters who want to work will work the fields and harvest all that produce that will be sitting there rotting in the fields in the absence of those “from away”.👀

If Vicente Cox was still Mexico's President, he would have closed the American border right now to troll Trump because of the 40,000+ deaths

Bavaria calls off Oktoberfest. An awful lot of the world is impressively committed to selling this hoax.

How Trump Wasted the Best Tool He Had to Fight Coronavirus

Out of all the responsibilities President Donald Trump has shirked during the COVID-19 pandemic, from not pressing China for information on the virus in its early weeks to not building up a testing regime in the United States, none has been more derelict than his administration’s failure to provide front-line healthcare workers with the medical and protective equipment they need.

What’s most exasperating is that there was a system in place to provide that equipment: the U.S. Strategic National Stockpile, an integrated collection of secret, federally-controlled warehouses with billions of dollars worth of precisely the kind of critical supplies that were needed in this crisis, such as masks and ventilators.
