No, your quotes from way earlier in this whole thing. You know, about healthy people being able to go out to the bar and such. Live their lives. You remember writing that, don't you?

With the caveat if they could do it safely. Like we're doing now.

Who says?

People were safely going to bars in NYC back in February. And then, they weren't. Nothing about going to bars changed. Nothing about the bars changed. But one day it was safe, and one day it wasn't. Where do you draw that line, where is that little tiny spot between safe and unsafe?

Per the NYT:

“ Anti-vaccination activists are increasingly involved in protests against stay-at-home orders. Their presence is "terrifying," experts say, and could spell disaster for any future coronavirus vaccine.”

I hope this virus makes them go away

Went to the grocery yesterday evening, and almost everyone was wearing a mask (since it is required). Surprised there haven't been more confrontations about it here, given the astroturfing going on in Lansing and the Pubbies suing to block Whitmer's extension.

And then they try to do it safely and restaurant customers THREATEN employees when told they need to wear masks.

Every place is opening up too soon. No do it safely. This is never going to end. I’m terrified for this country right now.

Refuse service and tell them to leave. If they threaten employees and don't leave, call the cops.

Problem is it's probably the community sentiment so doing that would be suicide for the business.

The solution is pull up stakes and move somewhere with a human clientele.

Solid death day for MI: 3rd in the country (154) with more than half the leader's, solidifying their #3 overall position (4,020 total). Don't sleep on MI for an excellent second quarter. Probably no hope for anybody to catch NY (> 24k) but a legitimate shot at second.

Those domestic terror militias in Lansing sure did own the libs, though.

It floors me that they're protesting her state of emergency declaration extension. That is separate from her stay-at-home order. The emergency order, if I remember correctly, allows her to receive federal aid, assistance, and funding regarding this (or anything else she declares a state emergency for). It's like the emergency declaration she signed in January 2019 because of the -50 windchill weather they had.

These people don't even know what the fu** they're protesting about!!!

Especially when trump and the feds have basically washed their hands of the whole thing, "pandemic's over, let's get the economy back up and running", leaving any possible consequences up to the states to deal with.

We are nowhere near close to the end of this.
