At no point during this have we had a lockdown with documentation for groceries nor has anyone here suggested that. What we clearly meant by lockdown was a return to the Stay Home Minnesota order.

Which is clearly needed right now. Of course not everyone is going to follow it. Of course its impact is going to be lessened by neighboring states doing nothing. But we're up against an exponent that's butting up against a fixed capacity at hospitals. Once you go over that capacity, CFR goes up, and we start to ration care. Obviously you understand this, I'm just having a hard time squaring that with the "He said he won't... He is probably right" post.

Leadership is not waiting for your neighbors to do the right thing. And that applies to each of us on a personal basis as well as the Governors within the midwest.
 
How about instead of fighting amongst ourselves we just mourn the fact that Minnesota just added 7200 cases...

Michigan added 7300, WI added over 7400 and Ohio added 7100.

But hey Big Ten Football baby! Fcuk Kevin Warren, Fcuk the schools, Fcuk Trump, Fcuk any Red District who voted for a GOPer, fcuk the GOP.

But the real tragedy is that Ohio State might not make the playoff because of outbreaks and not being able to schedule games outside of the conference. (yes that is a real thing people are saying)

He may as well wish for a unicorn. There is a better chance that Trump will discover legitimate ballots and somehow win for real than there is that we have a national shutdown.

First, Biden isn't president yet and by the time he is sworn in, it will be far too late.

Second, about 10 states would sue before the ink is dry on the decree, and would get enough injunctions to render it useless (see Wisconsin).
